Privacy

Short version: an email address if you give one, your diagnostic answers, and anonymous page events. No accounts, no advertising, no tracking cookies.

What is collected

• Your email address, only if you enter it. Entering it is what subscribes you, and the form says so next to the field. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate.
• Diagnostic answers and scores, saved so your result has a shareable link. The result page is not indexed by search engines. Taking it again creates a separate result.
• Page events, such as which page was viewed and which links were used. These are stored without IP addresses and are not tied to you.

What is not collected

No accounts or passwords, no advertising or analytics trackers, no third-party cookies, and no IP addresses in the database. IP addresses are used only in memory, briefly, to rate-limit abuse.

Who else is involved

Email is sent through Amazon SES. The site is served through Cloudflare, which keeps its own short-lived security and performance logs. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.

Removing your data

Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to hello@theainativeengineer.com and ask for your address and any saved results to be deleted.
